Roadford Lake

Roadford Lake is a man-made reservoir, fed by the River Wolf. It is located to the north-east of Broadwoodwidger in West Devon, eight miles east of Launceston.

On the southern bank you will find the Lakeside cafe and Function Suite which includes a Visitor Centre, giving information on the history of the valley, with interactive exhibits. Visitors to this side of the lake can enjoy miles of footpaths and a cycleway which winds its way through a maturing planted forest overlooking the Lake. You can also take a rowing boat to explore the scenery from a different perspective from the water.

Across the water is the Outdoor + Active Centre offering brown trout angling, sailing, windsurfing, rowing, kayaking and camping.
